ITINERARY DETAILS
Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar
On arrival at the Delhi airport; meet our tour representative who will assist you to transfer to Haridwar, by road. On reaching Haridwar in the afternoon, register yourself at the hotel and relax for some time. In the twilight, visit the bank of river Ganga in Haridwar: Har-ki-Pauri for attending the eye-catching Ganga Aarti and purify your body, mind, and soul after listening to the Vedic prayers and hymns get chanted. Admire immense energy when the shadow of thousands of lighted lamps falls on the flowing holy river Ganga. The whole atmosphere becomes absolutely peaceful. Stay overnight in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar – Joshimath
Early morning breakfast, drive towards Joshimath. On the way, halt at Devprayag (one of the Panch Prayag of River Alaknanda where it meets with River Bhagirathi), Rudraprayag (the meeting point of River Alaknanda and River Mandakini), and Karnprayag (the confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and Pindar). As you reach Joshimath (founded by Adi Shankaracharya), check in at the Hotel. The gateway to Hem Kund and Badrinath, Joshimath receives a huge number of Sikh and Hindu pilgrims throughout the summer. It is also the base for several popular treks such as Kuari Pass Trek and Valley of Flower trek. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Joshimath – Auli
On this day after breakfast, start your drive to Auli or take the 4 km cable car ride. Lying between the altitude range of 2500 m to 2050 m, Auli is one of the premier Skiing Resorts in India. The longest cable car ride in Asia takes you to a scenic Ski resort. On the way, treat your eyes to the amazing views of the surrounding areas. On arriving, complete the check-in formalities. Later on, you can enjoy Skiing and other snow activities on the slopes of Auli with the assistance of the resort's instructors. Also, explore the nearby artificial lake, the day is going to be a thrilling and adventurous one. Overnight stay at the resort/hotel in Auli.
Day 4: Auli Tour-
After breakfast discovers the panoramic view of high Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, 7818 m. Gurso Bugyal is a picturesque location from where you get to enjoy magnificent views of Trishul Peak and Dron Parvat. Within close environs, lies Chattrakund, a pristine lake that is known for its crystal clear blue waters. It is also a perfect picnic spot for those who love natural beauty and its silence. Another important attraction you may visit in Auli is Chenab Lake and Tapovan hot water springs. Overnight stay in Auli.
Day 5: Drive Auli - Rishikesh
Post a fulfilling breakfast, start your drive to Rishikesh from Auli, explore the popular spiritual sites of the region, and take blessings from Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math. Later in the day, drive towards Rishikesh- popularly known as the Yoga Capital of the World, which is also the home to several Ashrams. As you reach, register yourself into the hotel. The place is not only known for its ashrams, yoga, and meditation opportunities, but it is also popular as a river rafting destination too if time and weather permits enjoy the thrilling river rafting at Shivpuri, Rishikesh, or in the evening spend leisure time on your own. Day 6: Rishikesh – Delhi for departure
After breakfast explore the Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Triveni Ghat – the confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati and spend some time in a popular ashram for purification of your body and mind with Yoga and Meditation. Thereafter, start driving towards Delhi. Get transferred to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
