Day 1: Arrival in Mussoorie
On the first day of your Mussoorie tour, drive up the steep, winding road from Delhi to Mussoorie. Upon arriving at Mussoorie, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. In the evening, glossy roads gleam under golden lamps that stick out their necks inquiringly and peer down. You will find that the air is still pure and invigorating, the mountains are majestic, and the plains below green and verdant to the jaded eye. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.
The overnight stay will be at your hotel in Mussoorie.
Day 2: Mussoorie Sightseeing
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and then proceed to explore Mussoorie. Make your visit to the Kempty Fall 40 feet waterfall is the highest of five cascades that branch from a mountain stream. It’s a real tourist trap in May and June. The Library Bazaar marks the western end of the Mall and is dominated by the Victorian-style Library that was built in the mid-19th century. A statue of Gandhi in one corner stands alone giving the name Gandhi Chowk to the bazaar. Later, make your visit to the Lal Tibba which represents the highest point in Mussorie. One can visit Company Garden which is often crowded with families and you can enjoy boating on the lake
Afterward, visit Camel’s Back Road, it gets its name from a natural outcrop of rocks shaped like a camel’s hump. It is an enchanting place for an evening stroll as the setting sun paints the peaks in brilliant hues. The Gun Hill is located about 400 ft above the Mall and can be reached here via a ropeway. The view here is panoramic, with Mussorie on one side and Banderpoonch, Naag Tibba, and Yamunotri on the other side. The Mall straddles a long ridge that extends from Cloud End in the west to Rockville in the east. Now return back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Mussoorie – Dhanaulti - Mussoorie
On the third day of your trip leave for Dhanaulti after a short breakfast. There are many thrilling activities for you in a beautiful forested area among conifers and deodar trees including nature walks, treks, temple visits, and many more.
Firstly, trek to the Surkanda Devi temple, popular with pilgrims seeking a boon from the goddess. Some other major tourist spots in Dhanaulti are Dashavatar Temple, Eco Park, Joranada Fall, and Tehri Lake where one can make a visit to enjoy the walk through the towering deodars while listening to the music of cicadas. Then return to Mussoorie and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Mussoorie – Delhi
Today we drive back to Delhi from Mussoorie after checking out from your hotel. Enjoy the breakfast and then proceed towards Delhi.
