ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1: Arrive at New Delhi Airport

On your arrival in New Delhi, our tour representative will meet and greet you at the airport and personally assist you with a guided transfer to your hotel. Check in at the hotel and after relaxation, you may explore Delhi's nearby attractions like Connaught Place, and India Gate or wander around the streets or simply take a rest in your hotel.

Day 2: Delhi City Tour

Munch on a lavish breakfast and energize yourself for a day full of excitement and fun. Enjoy your day with a sightseeing tour starting from Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Gandhi Memorial, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Parliament House, Birla Temple also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple, Qutub Minar Complex, and Lotus Temple. All these popular spots hold historical importance and exhibit the glorious past of the country.

You may also opt to attend the 'Light and Sound' show at Red Fort where the history of the Mughal era is explained through light and sound in an amazing way.

Post sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

After an early breakfast drive towards the most visited city of Rajasthan Jaipur, which welcomes you with open arms to explore its beautiful attractions. So, begin with an excursion tour to Amber Fort where you can enjoy elephant rides. The Pink City also offers incredible attractions like City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar.

In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani to experience the true color of Rajasthani culture. In Chokhi Dhani village view colorful paintings and enjoy folk dance and Rajasthani food. Post sightseeing and dinner return to the hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Jaipur to Agra, Via Fatehpur Sikri (258 Kms/05 Hrs.)

After breakfast, drive to the next destination, Agra en-route we will visit the old and secluded town of the Mughal Dynasty, Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri (listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site) was built by Emperor Akbar during the second half of the 16th-century. The city is famous for some of the iconic structures of the Mughal era which include Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal Jodha Bai Palace, and Birbal Bhawan. All are famous for their historical importance and beautiful architectural design. After traveling around this abandoned Mughal town, you will proceed to Agra. On reaching Agra, check in at the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in the Taj City.

Day 5: Agra – Orchha (258 Kms/05 Hrs.)

Early morning get ready to experience the splendid sunrise at the Taj Mahal, our tour specialist will reveal all the secrets about the jewel of Islamic art Taj Mahal, which is actually a mausoleum that is completely made up of white marble. It was built by the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Click some stunning photos with your beloved one at the Seven Wonders of the World. After exploring the epitome of love, return to the hotel, post breakfast check out from the hotel.

Visit another UNESCO world heritage site Agra Fort, red sandstone historical building that has many intricate structures like Diwan-I-Am and Diwan-I-Khas in the interiors of it, and drive towards Orchha. Once a princely state, Orchha lies in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh on reaching check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay in Orchha. 

Day 6: Orchha-Khajuraho

After breakfast, explore the town of Orchha which was founded in the 15th century AD, and in today's world it is renowned for its numerous temples, palaces, and forts. Visit the popular tourist spots like Ram Raja temple, Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and Laxmi Narayan temple (mural paintings).

After sightseeing Orchha, get back on the road to Khajuraho (172 km away). On arrival at Khajuraho, you would be checking into a pre-booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Khajuraho – Varanasi

After breakfast, get ready to explore the world heritage sites of Khajuraho, which is divided into eastern and western groups of temples, Khajuraho is known for its cluster of Hindu and Jain temples. Under this, you would be visiting Laxmi & Varaha temples, Kandariya Mahadev temple, and Devi Jagdambi temple.

 

Kandariya Mahadev temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in Khajuraho. It is famous for its stone carvings, the numbers of which count more than 900.

On the other hand, Devi Jagdambi temple is a group of 25 beautifully decorated temples. These temples were built during the Chandella dynasty's rule in India (10th-12th century) and are famous for erotic carvings.

Post these visits, you would be heading to the airport to board the next flight to Varanasi. As you will arrive, our tour representative will escort you to the hotel. If you wish, you can go for a walk in the surroundings, or otherwise, relax in your room. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Varanasi

In the early morning gets ready for a boat ride in the sacred Ganga River and enjoy Subahe Banaras. After breakfast, leave for Sarnath (6 km away). Sarnath in the northeast of Varanasi is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. A highly sacred Buddhist religious place, Sarnath lies at the confluence of two rivers-Ganga and Varuna. Popular attractions here are Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Museum, and Chaukhandi Stupa.

Post sightseeing return back to the hotel. In the evening ready for world-famous traditional Ganga Aarti. The city of Varanasi is known for its religious ghats. Most spectacular amongst them is the Dashashwamedh ghat, which is located close to the Vishwanath temple. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

Day 9: Varanasi-Delhi

After breakfast, you would be transferred to the Varanasi airport for your return journey back to Delhi. This brings the end of our wonderful tour esteemed guests would be transferred to the International airport for their onward journey.
