Karnataka is a getaway to a complete pleasure, trekking trails, waterfalls, aromatic coffee plantations and a wonderful honeymoon spot for the newly wed.

The itinerary takes you to 5 nights and 6 days voyage of Bangalore, Mysore and Coorg. The tour is particularly scheduled and integrates the entire three destinations in a way that it covers the major attractions in an inclusive way.

Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore

On arrival at Bangalore Airport, get assisted by our tour representative and you will be transferred to your pre decided hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, relax for a while. Now it’s time to explore the top attractions of Bangalore which is famously known as ‘Silicon City of India’. Visit Lal Bagh, an old botanical Garden and Bull Temple, which is dedicated to a sacred Hindu demi-god called Nandi.

Afterwards, visit Art Gallery, Cubbon Park, and Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park. End the sightseeing tour of Bangalore by offering prayers at the ISKCON Temple. Return to the hotel for a relaxed sleep.

 

Day 2: Bangalore – Mysore

Post early morning breakfast, begin your adventure to Mysore. Appreciate the sightseeing of Ranganathaswamy Temple – a manifestation of the Lord Vishnu. Srirangapatnam a town located near the city Mysore   -the capital of Tipu Sultan and Channapatna Toys Center amid the adventure. Continue your drive and by afternoon you will reach Mysore.  Mysore is a beautiful city located at the base of Chamundi hills. Transfer to your hotel, check-in, and rest. In our day tour one may visit to Krishnarajsagar Dam and Vrindavan Garden – one can enjoy light and sound show there.  Spend a comfortable night at the hotel.

 

 

 

Day 3: Mysore-

Post a fulfilling breakfast, we will again proceed for Mysore city excursion. Start your day by paying homage to the Goddess Chamundeshwari – slayer of the demons Chanda and Munda. The temple is of quadrangular structure and built in Dravidian style. Thereafter we will head towards, Mysore Palace – a historical palace and the official residence of Wadiyar dynasty who ruled the Kingdom of Mysore. Next head to Mysore Zoo – one of the oldest and most famous zoos in India, where one can witness wide variety of species. Saint Philomena’s Church - is Asia’s second tallest church and built in Gothic style. Jaganmohan Palace art gallery is another attraction of the city, glorious palace adding a royal majesty to the city. After this the tour is over, return to the hotel and get onto the bed for a relaxed sleep.

 

Day 4: Mysore – Coorg

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel, and proceed to Coorg- fondly known as ‘Scotland of India’.  Coorg is an alluring concoction of aromatic coffee and spices plantations, rolling hills, rich flora and fauna, cool winds and calm environment. En route, visit Dubare Elephant Camp for a fun elephant safari and one can enjoy river rafting, specially recommended for the first timers. We will proceed to visit Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple nestled near Kushalnagar. It is one of the biggest Tibetan settlements in India. Later visit the hanging bridge Nisargadhama situated on the bank of river Cauvery. On arrival, check in to the hotel and sleep peacefully.

 

Day 5: Coorg

Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast and get ready to explore the famous attractions of Coorg. The day will start by visiting Brahmagiri Peak which lies at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level. There one can offer prayer to Tala Kaveri Temple and take a holy dip in th water tank, as it has a lot of significance. From there visit Bhagamandala or Bhagandeshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After this head to the Omkareshwara Temple, designed in Mumamandan style and dedicated to Lord Shiva lies in Madikeri town.  Abbey Falls is about 9 kms from the Madikeri, one of the best tourist spot in the Coorg.  Tucked between spice and coffee plantations, is a perfect spot for adventure lovers and surrounded by serenity of landscapes. From here visit Raja’s Seat, it offers an eye-popping view of towering hills, green valleys, studded with paddy fields. After exploring these astonishing views, return back to the hotel for a comfortable night stay.

 

Day 6: Coorg – Bangalore

On the last day of tour, have your breakfast and thereafter, check out from the hotel to drive back to Bangalore. On reaching, get transferred to the airport/railway station for your further journey.
