Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok, the Gateway to North Sikkim

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The journey takes you through scenic roads, offering glimpses of the beautiful Teesta River and the lush greenery of the region. After reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets and enjoying the pleasant weather.

 

Day 2: Lachen - The Serene Mountain Village

After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Lachen, a charming mountain village located at an altitude of 2,750 meters. The journey takes you through breathtaking landscapes, dotted with waterfalls, dense forests, and snow-capped peaks. En route, make a stop at the Seven Sisters Waterfalls and Singhik Viewpoint to capture stunning views of Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. Upon reaching Lachen, check into your hotel and spend the evening soaking in the tranquility of the village.

 

Day 3: Gurudongmar Lake and Lachung - The Valley of Flowers

Start your day early with a drive to Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of 5,183 meters. The lake is revered by both Buddhists and Sikhs and is surrounded by snow-covered peaks, offering a mesmerizing sight. After spending some time at Gurudongmar Lake, return to Lachen for lunch. Later, proceed to Lachung, another picturesque village located at an altitude of 2,750 meters. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Lachung and overnight stay at a hotel.

 

Day 4: Yumthang Valley and Zero Point

Today, get ready to explore the enchanting Yumthang Valley, often referred to as the "Valley of Flowers." The valley is adorned with colorful alpine flowers, hot springs, and snow-capped mountains, creating a mesmerizing landscape. Spend time amidst nature's beauty and take a dip in the soothing hot springs. Afterward, proceed to Zero Point, the last accessible point on the Indo-China border, where you can witness breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and frozen rivers. Return to Lachung and spend the evening exploring the local market.

 

Day 5: Return to Gangtok and Sightseeing

After breakfast, bid farewell to Lachung and drive back to Gangtok. On the way, visit the picturesque Tashi Viewpoint and the beautiful Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, where you can witness a variety of rhododendron species in full bloom (seasonal). In Gangtok, visit the renowned Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim. Explore the bustling MG Marg, a pedestrian-only street lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Enjoy shopping for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

 

Day 6: Departure from Gangtok

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and bid farewell to the enchanting land of North Sikkim. You will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. As you leave, cherish the memories of the awe-inspiring landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality of North Sikkim.
