 Tour Itinerary

 

Day 01: Arrival Delhi – Drive to Nainital

 

On reaching Delhi, get transferred to Nainital by road. After arriving in Nainital, check in to the hotel. Nainital attracts a large number of visitors throughout the year with main attractions such as the Naini lake, the wooded hillsides, nature walks in the pine forest, ancient temples, decorative candles, local handicrafts, and dozens of tourist spots. In the evening, you are free to stroll at Mall road, located parallel to the Naini lake is the lifeline of Nainital. Overnight stay in the hotel.

 

Day 02: Nainital

 

You can begin this morning with a visit to the Himalayan Darshan perched at a height of about 2300 mt is worth visiting as a tourist spot. You can use roadside binoculars to enjoy a fantastic view of the Himalayas. Then you can see the Eco Cave Garden, a natural park with a network of interconnected 6 rocky caves and hanging gardens. It is a great place for children with lots of activities and fun on offer. One can enjoy an aerial ropeway that offers a long spectacular view of the snow-bound high Himalayas, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Nanda Kot. Then, pay your homage to the Naina Devi Temple which is at the north end of the lake.

In the evening, the exquisiteness of the Naini lake is magnified when its scintillating waters play with the numerous lights of the hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, and Victorian-style villas. Boating in the tranquil Naini lake is a must for everyone. The Mall is the main shopping center in Nainital which has many branded and good local shops. The Bhotia Market is another delight in Mall Road where you are welcomed by the smiling faces of the Tibetans and a few locals offering items like woolen garments, decorative pieces, perfumes, candles, bags, and many more. Overnight stay in the hotel.

 

Day 03: Nainital - Mukteshwar

 

On the 3rd day of the tour, savor your breakfast and head to Mukteshwar for a day excursion. Nestled in the Kumaon Hills, Mukteshwar offers a magical 180 degrees view of the snow-capped Himalayas, beautiful orchards, dense coniferous forests, a magnificent view of the sunrise, and old colonial bungalows. First, seek blessings at Mukteshwar Temple, a 350-year-old temple situated at the hilltop, the temple has a white marble shivling with a copper yoni. Right below the Mukeshwar temple lies the famous Chauli Ki Jalistanding on the steep-edged rock forming a round hollow. Later, you can visit the Old Methodist Church, which is 75 years old and is on the side of the hill. Also, you can enjoy a cable car ride to Snow View Point where the peaks of Api and Nampa are clearly visible on a clear day. Later, return to Nainital and stay overnight.

 

Day 04: Nainital - Jim Corbett

 

After having your breakfast, drive from Nainital to Jim Corbett National Park. The Corbett National Park is situated in the foothills of the Kumaon region, it has been a haunt for tourists and wildlife lovers for a long time. Corbett National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers and also houses elephants, king cobra, sambar, gharial, nilgai, crocodile, flying fox, common musk shrew, hedgehogs, and many more. The place offers a lot to those who wish to look closely at nature. People can enjoy Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari in the national park and their encounters with different species. On arrival, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 05: Wildlife experience at Jim Corbett

 

This morning, have a memorable experience by taking up an elephant ride or jeep safari. A day visit to this beautiful Corbett park is like heaven for nature-loving tourists. In the evening, either go for a safari to spot the wildlife or spend time at leisure. Dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 06: Departure from Jim Corbett - Delhi

 

After breakfast, leave Jim Corbett and head back to Delhi airport/ railway station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
